Who is this for?
This Level 2 qualification is for Goods Vehicle
Drivers who are able to show a level of occupational competence above the relevant statutory driving test as it includes competencies in:
Pre-driving checks & monitoring loading
Load security
Driving safely with acceptable wear & tear to the vehicle
Driving with fuel efficiency in mind

The aim of the programme is to enable Goods vehicle delivery drivers to develop their skills & knowledge so that best practise is demonstrated to the customer & the public in general, allowing companies to remain competitive by increased efficiency, improvements to customer & public perception as well as reduced running costs.
Course Duration
The duration of this course is flexible and dependant on the units chosen to undertake.
Accreditation
The programme is suitable for delivery drivers of all type of Goods vehicles including Vans, 7.5 Tonne rigid or articulated lorries.
These modules can be delivered at your workplace or at our training centre on a flexible basis to suit individual companies.
Additional Information
Price is subject to desired NVQ route.
Some funding is available, however it is usually required that your employer or company make a contribution towards the cost of the qualification. Before completing the application form please call us to discuss your learning requirements.
Mileage costs may be applied to training taking place over 25 miles from our sites.

In addition the NVQ assessment for the seven mandatory modules will take place during normal working hours/shifts.
