Who is this for?
The Performing Manufacturing Operations N/SVQs benefit both employers and employees by offering a wide choice of assessment routes to suit the widest possible range of needs.
This NVQ is intended to develop a skilled workforce in a specific environment; e.g. producing packaging or non-food related items. Skills covered are shaping, assembling, processing, forming, finishing, joining and moulding.
The purpose of this NVQ is to enable employees to make a contribution to the overall improvement of the business. The NVQ is not about doing the job, but how to continuously improve the processes and procedures involved in carrying out the job. It is important therefore that prospective candidates are given time to identify and solve problems through team-working and applying business improvement techniques.
Course Duration
The duration of this course is dependant on the units chosen.
Accreditation
To achieve the qualification, candidates are:
Profiled & inducted
Observed carrying out performance operations
Questioned on their knowledge
In addition, statements from supervisors and/or logbook entries are used to ascertain competence over time.

Price is subject to desired NVQ route.
Some funding is available, however it is usually required that your employer or company make a contribution towards the cost of the qualification. Before completing the application form please call us to discuss your learning requirements.
Mileage costs may be applied to training taking place over 25 miles from our sites.
