Who is this for?

The Distribution, Warehousing and Storage Operations N/SVQs benefit both employers and employees by offering a wide choice of assessment routes to suit the widest possible range of needs.

Course Duration

Candidate must complete three mandatory assessment routes plus five optional assessment routes from the Course Content list above. The duration will depend on which units are chosen to structure the qualification.

Additional Information

To achieve the qualification, candidates are:
Profiled & inducted
Observed carrying out performance operations
Questioned on their knowledge
In addition, statements from supervisors and/or logbook entries are used to ascertain competence over time.


Mileage costs may be applied to training taking place over 25 miles from our sites.

Maintain health, safety & security in logistics operations

Develop effective working relationships with colleagues in logistic operations

Move goods in logistics facilities
Receive goods from deliveries
Place goods in storage
Maintain the safety and quality of goods
Maintain the safety of hazardous goods and materials
Maintain hygiene standards in handling and storing goods
Process orders for dispatch to customers
Assemble orders for dispatch
Dispatch goods for delivery
Process returned goods
Sort goods and materials for recycling
Manage the receipt, storage or dispatch of goods
Audit stock levels and stock records
