This Level 2 Waste Management programme is suitable for employees in a wide range of occupations where their work activity requires them to handle waste. The structure of the qualification offers a flexible pathway that enables employees to gain a recognised qualification. Having a qualified workforce in waste management enables organisations to demonstrate that they are conforming to organisational, contractual and legislative environmental requirements.

Course Content
There are five common pathways to this award which is accredited by WAMITAB, The Waste Management Industry Training & Advisory Board.
The pathways identify typical workplace
activities that may be encountered within a wide range of occupational areas:
Waste Collection
Recyclable Waste Collection
Waste Treatment Operative
Waste Recycling Operative
Construction Logistics
Candidates must achieve six mandatory units plus four optional Units.
