Who is this for?
This course has been designed for operators who require training and certification to carry out slinging and signalling during lifting operations.
Operators with previous operating & industry experience will require less training time. The length of time will depend on evidence & profiling. For more information on testing please speak to one of our helpful training co-ordinators.

Accreditation
We are able to train and test to the National Plant Operators Scheme standards . We are able to train to CPCS requirements. Call for details.
Candidates will need a CPCS upgrade from red card to blue card within 2 years by completing an NVQ level 2. Funding may be available for the NVQ. Please call for further details on upgrades.
Additional Information
A Slinger Signaller is a person who has been trained and who has the necessary experience to be ‘appointed’ to assess, plan and select the correct equipment to enable the lift to be carried out safely. In addition, the slinger signaller insures that all inspections and maintenance have been undertaken and if necessary has the authority to stop activities.
Site Requirements
This course must take place at your Workplace or Site. There is a requirement for site resources.
