Who is this for?
This course has been designed for operators who require training and certification to operate hydraulic lorry loaders.
Operators with previous operating & industry experience will require less training time. The length of time will depend on evidence & profiling. For more information on testing please speak to one of our helpful training co-ordinators.
Course Duration
Option 1 Novice CPCS Construction: 5 Days
Option 2 Novice NPORS Distribution: 2 Days
Option 3 One Day Refresher Course
Accreditation
We are able to train and test to NPORS. We are able to train to CPCS requirements. Please call for details on CPCS testing.
Candidates will need to upgrade from red to blue card within 2 years by completing an NVQ level 2. Funding may be available for the NVQ.

Site Requirements
This course must take place at your Workplace or Site. There is a requirement for site resources.

Mileage costs may be applied to training taking place over 25 miles from our sites.

What the law says
Regulation 9 of the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 places an absolute duty on the employer to ensure that, all persons who use work equipment must have received adequate training, for purpose of health and safety, including training in the methods which may be adopted when using work equipment. Other legislation including the Health & safety at Work Act 1974 and the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 as well as the Road Traffic Act 1991 must all be adhered to.
