Who is this for?

The training course has been designed for existing or novice operators of Forward Tipping Dumpers including articulated and rotating.
On completion of the programme candidates will be able to safely maintain, operate and tip forward tipping dumper.

Novice 3 days

Experienced refresher training & Assessment 1 Day

Additional Information

If candidates wish to operate on Major Contractor’s sites they must successfully complete the CITB Prometric touch screen Safety Test, complete NVQ in Specialised Plant & Machinery Operations & Register with the Construction Plant Competence Scheme.

What the law says

Regulation 9 of the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 places an
absolute duty on the employer to ensure that, all persons who use work equipment must have received adequate training, for purpose of health and safety, including training in the methods which may be adopted when using work equipment.
