(Course code: FLTASW8)

Who is this for?

This one-day course has been designed for those who supervise lift truck operators. It is a legal requirement that personnel who supervise the use of lift trucks must understand its basic characteristics and it is vital to know what the limits of the truck and operators are to prevent the possibility of accidents.

Every year there are an estimated 8000
reportable injuries involving lift truck operations. These injuries result in physical and economic suffering for those involved & their dependants. Each year, on average about ten of them are fatal.

Thirty percent of the estimated 8000 accidents can be attributed to inadequate training and
supervision. Source: HSC
