Who is this for?

The aim of this one day course is to ensure that all employees who operate grass cutting machinery including Ride On, Trailed or Pedestrian Controlled do so to industry best practice. Improper use, setting and operator maintenance can result in expensive repair costs and lost downtime.

Existing operators will usually only require one day of training. However, for novice operators two or three days should be considered.

This is a 2 day course

Accreditation

Successful Candidates are registered with the appropriate accrediting body, recognised by the Health & Safety Commission.

Additional Information

Maximum no of candidates per course: 6
Candidates must be at least 16 years of age.

Mileage costs may be applied to training taking place over 25 miles from our sites.

What the law says

In order to use work equipment operators must have undergone training and be competent, (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998).

This course has been designed for green keepers and others who wish to attain a certificate of competence in the use of Grass cutting machinery.
