Who is this for?
This course is intended for individuals or employees to ensure that they have the knowledge and expertise to operate Brushcutters or Strimmers to industry best practice.
Course Duration
This is a 2 day course.
Accreditation
In order to use work equipment the operator must have undergone training and be competent within that specific field of work, (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998)
This course has been designed for grounds maintenance staff, green keepers, local authority workers and those working in a landscape industry who wish to attain a certificate of competence in the use of Brushcutters/Strimmers.
Successful candidates are registered with the appropriate awarding body, recognised by the Health & Safety Commission.
Additional Information
A National Proficiency Test Council assessment can be arranged if required.
Maximum number of candidates per course is six.
Candidates must be at least 16 years of age.
Training can be undertaken at your premises or our site.
Experienced operators will usually only require one day of training.
However, for novice operators, two to three days should be considered.
Mileage costs may be applied to training taking place over 25 miles from our sites.
