Who is this for?

These programmes have been designed for those who wish to attain proof of training & assessment in the use of Excavators, in particular farmers wishing to diversify, employees of the hire industry, building contractors, amenity landscapers & owner drivers.

Course Duration

1 Day: Assessment only
10 Day: Novice (or as required)

Accreditation

Successful Candidates are registered with the appropriate accrediting body, recognised by the Health & Safety Commission

Additional Information

The ten day course is for the complete novice and will prepare candidates for the CPCS test. Modules include introduction to the construction industry, site safety awareness, operating in no-load & loaded conditions. Training must be undertaken at your workplace. Operators with previous operating & industry experience will require less training time. The length of time will depend on evidence & profiling. For more information on testing please speak to one of our helpful training co-ordinators.

Candidates will need to upgrade from red to blue card within 2 years by completing an NVQ level 2. Funding may be available for the NVQ.
